Sporting 77 Iguanas v Tillingham Tigers

The Iguanas started well with Jake making lots of good runs with the ball, but he was unable to get a clear shot at goal as the Tigers defended in numbers. Ethan was breaking up attacks and Aurora and Jayden were battling in midfield, setting up Jake for runs forward. But it was Tillingham who struck first with a brace of goals. Man of match Oliver made a number of fine stops in goal.
Iguanas hit back from a corner, Cole struck the corner across the goal and Zach diverted it in with his chest. Rafe was breaking any attack up, but Tigers managed to score another before half time. Fearn was showing some good skills on the ball.
In the second half, Iguanas continued to attack but were thwarted by the goalie and some good defending. Despite some heroic goalkeeping by Oliver Tigers scored another 2 goals.
For their first game this was a good performance from the Iguanas.
