A brilliant performance from the Scorpions, reversing a 3-0 defeat in January with a dominating display.

The first 10 minutes were mainly spent probing in midfield looking for a breakthrough. With possession firmly in the Scorpions favour two chances fell to Jake but he was unable to capitalise. Archie, making his debut showed some neat touches and Caspar, Tor and Lucas all made strong runs but were just unable to create clear cut opportunities.

Poyraz was having a great game at the back and the Warriors were really struggling to get past him and into the game. With the half coming to an end the Warriors went on rare attack but Aurora was very composed and gathered the ball brilliantly to snuff out the danger. HT 0-0

The Scorpions started the second half on the front foot and early in the second half the deadlock was finally broken. A throw in from Jake found Archie in space and a lovely run and finish put the away side 1 up. Just a minute later Jake went on a great run passing two defenders before finishing well to make it 2-0.

Poyraz continued to dominate in his defensive duties and the Warriors really struggled to create anything of note except a last minute chance that was put just wide of the post.

Fantastic from all the Scorpions today. A great win against a very capable team.
