Injuries affect Dragons performance

Jenson
A return to league action for the Dragons, admittedly I forgot I was writing this report today so its a bit short!
A visit to Sandon to play newly relegated Baddow today who oddly were relegated last season after having lost just one game - make of that what you will!
A competitive first half saw Baddow go in front. The Dragons turned the tide and saw Jenson score to equalise not long afterwards. Pearcey saw a freekick cannon off the angle of the goal looking for the top corner. Jenson had a free kick moments later in a good position but didn't clear the wall with his effort unfortunately.
Half time approaching the Dragons conceded a second goal to go 2-1 behind but that was the least of the worries as they were walking wounded going in at the break. Roo struggling with a shoulder he injured in the warm up, Angus limping after taking a heavy blow to knee and Pearcey hobbling taking a stud to the Achilles.
Second half may have been a result of the injuries we were suffering with but the floodgates opened and the scoreline ran away 6-1 with stand in goalkeeper Hudson standing no chance with the quality of the shots fired at him. Jenson off as well before full time injured added salt to wound of the Dragons.
We'll lick ours wounds, learn from mistakes made today and try again next week!
Dragon of the Week - Teddy Shepherd
Teddy's first ever game today and he did everything we could have asked him to do in a tough environment today. Tackled, blocked, passed. Well done Teddy.
