Dragons v Great Notley Falcons

A dewy morning over the Dragons Den set the stage for some fast flowing fluid football, as today the Dragons welcomed the Gt Notley Falcons to Wethersfield in match day three of this budding season.
As with each game so far, it was the Dragons in sole control of the game right from kick off forcing some early stops from the Notley keeper. Some great football all across the park from the off, confidence beaming from each Dragon demanding the ball but each in turn then doing something with it rather than just kicking it away. The visitors keeper forced to deny a long effort from Pearcey early on. For all the early dominance Logan tucked away for 1-0 with 6 minutes gone.
Not content with a 1 goal advantage the Dragons kept playing their game and playing it well. Angus with a trademark burst from midfield, beating the last man to slot in for 2-0. Harrison promptly and calmly added number 3 and its cruise control for the boys. Roo cutting a very lonely figure in our goal.
Debutant "West Ham" Sam won the loose ball on halfway and pinged a through ball with his left foot for Harrison to gather and add number 4 before the break.
Second half and a move from back to front with SB collecting the ball deep and playing forward for Ryan, the ball forward was to Zack in space in the box, playing as a striker for the second half who made no mistake swivelling on the ball and firing into the bottom corner for his first ever goal from open play.
A pot shot from distance gave the visitors a consolation goal for their hard work.
A neat quick short corner from Logan and Harrison saw "Tank" Harrison cut inside a clip the ball sublimely into the top right corner to complete his second hat trick in as many weeks!
This was another top top performance, I know we dropped a league over the summer but our level of play last year made it feel harsh to go down and we're proving that on the pitch every week now. The nice thing about it all is even when we are winning by big margins everyone sticks to their jobs and doesn't go goal hunting, we are a team, we are a unit and every goal that's scored is one for the team regardless of who gets it, its a pleasure to see!
